The Authors
Clarence Chua is a journalism student in NTU’s School of Communication and Information. Being brought up in a concretised HDB only made him want to explore the grass on the other side. And greener it was, at places such as Labrador Park where his father brought him to catch spiders. Today, Clarence is perpetuating his interest in the nature-urban balance by nosing around journalistically and monkeying up up tree houses.
Rachel Lim is a final-year journalism student who has interned both at the local press and foreign news agency. She currently resides in a highrise flat in the North-East suburbs/heartlands, but was fortunate enough to spend 3 years of her childhood in the lush environment of Mount Sophia Road. Her fondest memories were those spent at Mount Emily Park and growing her own sunflowers.
